Car Takes A Dive From First Floor Of Car Park

A motorist escaped death when his newly-purchased Mitsubishi Delica slammed through metal railings and plunged from the first floor of a car park in Hong Kong yesterday.

Reports said He had tried to grab a remote control that dropped on the floor in the cabin -obviously the wrong time to do so- and he lost control of the car.

it came to a stop when it plunged into the roadside railings on Tse Wai Avenue, police said.

The driver hurt his arms and chest and was taken, conscious, to United Christian Hospital. He was discharged after treatment.

Good thing he passed a breathalyser test.
