Former Miss South Africa Survives Car Crash

Former Miss South Africa, Liesl Laurie was involved in "horiffic" car crash that happened on the N1 highway near Midrand on Thursday last week. 

The 25-year-old 2015 beauty queen suffered only minor injuries after colliding with a truck. Laurie’s car was hit from the back by another vehicle, propelling her car into the truck ahead of her. She was forced to exit her car through the back as the front of her vehicle was wedged under the truck.

According to eye-witnesses, after Laurie got out, she was understandably, shaking uncontrollably at the scene.

Laurie’s publicist revealed that she will be taking a short break from driving, and public appearances, while she recovers.
