The unidentified ex-boyfriend was taking out the trash last week when he saw his Chevy Malibu engulfed in flames, and his 18-year-old ex-girlfriend, Hopesy Henriquez standing nearby. And when police arrested her, she told them, "I set his car on fire because he cheated on me. I hope he never forgets it."
The ex-boyfriend said in a video interview , "I honestly did not think she was going to do something like this. I don't care how mad you are, you don't set someone's car on fire, no matter what the situation is."
Henriquez also said a music video inspired her to toast the car and she now faces arson charges that could put her in prison for up to 28-years.
