Train Crushes Cement Truck In Ogun State

A Train crushed a cement truck loaded with cement belonging to Lafarge Cement Company and a Toyota Camry at a railway crossing at Kila, a border town between Ogun and Oyo states.

According to the Public Relations Officer of Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency, Babatunde Akinbiyi, he told The Punch, that the accident was caused when the driver of the train failed to hoot as it approached the level crossing line at kila and then ran into the two vehicles. Both drivers of the Truck and Toyota Camry sustained injuries and were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
