Man And Woman Charged With DUI With The Same Car

Just incredible, A 43 year old and a 36 year old woman are facing DUI Charges after been accused of crashing the same car in Canada on Wednesday.

CBC reports that the Royal Candian Mounted Police (RCMP) were called to a crash west of Dauphin, Man., on Highway 5 just before 8 p.m. Wednesday. The driver of an Oldsmobile Cutlass was attempting a U-turn when he collided with a pickup truck, causing the truck to go into the ditch, police said.

Emergency crews were called but before they arrived, the driver of the car got out and ran off into some nearby bush then a woman, who was a passenger in the car, then scrambled into the driver's seat drove away. But she only got about 500 metres before she steered the car into the ditch, Police said.

When RCMP arrived, a 36-year-old woman was taken into custody. The 43-year-old man was found after a brief search in the bush and also arrested.

"Every time you're satisfied you've seen it all, something like this happens," said RCMP spokesperson Sgt. Bert Paquet.

No one was seriously injured in either of the crashes, police said.
