Deer Fights Driver After Getting Run Over Then Dies

On September 17, Ellen Sager of Howell, New Jersey was headed home when she struck a deer with her SUV. Just After pulling over to check on the animal, the wild and now angry beast charged at her, attacking Sager as she opened the door with its last strength before falling over and dying from its injuries.

The whole drama was caught on Officer Nicholas Austin dashcam as he rolled up to the SUV pulled over to the side of the road, witnessing the deer desperately final battle.

The officer told ABC 7 that if it weren't for his dash camera, he wouldn't have believed it either.

"I've never seen anything like it. I've lived in this town my entire life and never seen or heard anything ever like that," said Austin.

Sager said it all happened really fast.

"He was determined to get in that car. He was mad. He was mad," she said. "Yes, he was trying to get in, to get me."

Sager suffered a minor knee injury as a result of her scuffle with the angry deer.
