Leicester City Players Changing The Blue Colour of Their BMWi8s

On the 9th of August, just before the beginning of the new premier league season, Leicester City's Thai Chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, had 19 copies of the BMW i8 all in matching blue colours, delivered to 19 Leciester players who were part of the squad that won the 15/16 premier league season.

However, the players are apparently changing the colours of the hybrid sports cars from the Club's blue theme colour. BBC reports that at least seven players have ordered for theirs to be changed and left back Jeff Schlupp was the first to get his own i8 personalized with a Matt black Vinyl wrap. Rumours came out that the stars were tired of getting their cars mixed up. But hold on, I thought you were supposed to know where you park your car?

Former Premier League striker Marlon Harewood runs the Nottingham garage where the players' hybrid sports cars were modified.

The former Nottingham Forest, West Ham and Aston Villa player said: "The reason they have got them changed is because there were 19 cars all exactly the same.

"They wanted to personalise their own vehicle. I've heard rumours they couldn't find their car in the car park but you don't forget your own car."

This descision made by the players to change the colour of their i8s have not gone done well with the Leciester City fans with many of them voicing out their disapproval on the social media.

Why don't they all just get customized plates like 'Vardy 09'!#justsaying.
