Man Crawls Out Of Wreckage Three Days After Crash

A man in Indiana has being rescued three days after the car he and his girlfriend lost control and got stuck in a tree.

Indiana state police found 39 Year old Kevin Bell along a US road three days after his girlfriend's family had reported her missing when she failed to return from a trip from Pennsylvania where she picked up Mr Bell. 

Ms Nikki Reed who was a mother of three died in the accident while Mr Bell sustained leg injuries that had prevented him from seeking help.

Mr Bell appeared to lose control of the 1999 Ford Explorer, which slid down an embankment and struck a tree, killing Ms Reed. 

He managed to crawl to a road three days after staying with the body of his dead girlfriend and was taken to hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening, police said.
