The State Of Michigan Becomes The First State To Allow Self Driving Car Trials Without A Driver


The State of Michigan in the United States has taken a step further in embracing Self driving cars by passing a legislation to allow these cars to cruise around the state without a human driver behind the wheels

The state senate unanimously voted to let firms and researches test self-driving cars on Michigan roads without a person at the wheel with the legislation seen as an economic move to attract researchers and establish more jobs in the state.

Also the bill states that if the self-driving car is involved in an accident, the carmaker is liable for damage.
