The Bugatti Chiron Undergoes Extreme Hot Weather Testing

The new Bugatti Chiron is the ultimate hypercar and the most extreme version to date, which is why it's had the automotive industry talking since it was released.

The thing is, with a car this special, some rigorous testing is needed and Bugatti have a more intense program than most. Bugatti themselves just released a wicked little video that shows how it's tested the Chiron for extreme temperatures to show that hypercar can withstand the heat in the kitchen.

The Bugatti Chiron is more complex than most hypercars with that 1,500 hp quad-turbocharged W16 engine powering it, and it needed to complete one of the most exacting and comprehensive test programmes out there. According to Carbuzz, more than 30 test vehicles were (or still are) in use, including these four models that Bugatti engineers took to the US this summer for endurance testing in Death Valley's scorching heat for four and a half weeks. They covered about 35, 003 kilometers (21,750 miles) and saw outside temps as high as 52-degree Celsius (125-degrees Fahrenheit).

So watch below how it survived without breaking a sweat;
