A Lamborghini Murciélago Crushed By The Hands Of The Taiwanese Government

A horrifying event took place in Taiwan yesterday. A sweet and innocent looking Lamborghini Murciélago was executed by the Taiwan government right before media people because it allegedly had a wrong licence plate number, no thanks to the owner. The license plate, according to Focus Taiwan (part of Taiwan’s state-run Central News Agency), came off a Ford sedan, and was placed on the supercar to try to evade authorities although other reports had it that the supercar was imported illegally.
A police at a checkpoint noticed the discrepancy back in 2013, and the car was impounded in accordance with their “Road Traffic Management and Penalty Act,” the news site said.
Just before the heart wrenching execution took place, the owner who happens to be a commercial pilot, reportedly sent a friend to the impound lot in a last ditch effort to prevent his car from destruction, after previous appeals had been unsuccessful.
