The Corps Marshall of The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) agency, Boboye Oyeyemi has stated that the N6,000 spent to procure a driver’s licence and N12,000 for vehicle plate number is too poor considering that the agency was spending so much to produce them and therefore an increase in fees was imminent.

The Corps Marshall of the agency, Boboye Oyeyemi, made this disclosure on Monday at their 136th meeting of the Joint Tax Board (JTB) held in Abuja. he also cried out to the board to facilitate the payment of over N700 million owed it by various states in the country.

Meanwhile, the Federal Executive Council (FEC) yesterday, November 23 approved the purchase of vehicles worth N464 million for the FRSC. The vehicles include 50 pick-up vans to be purchased from Innoson Motors (IVM), and 27 Peugeot 301 cars to be bought from Peugeot Automobile Nigeria (PAN), Kaduna.
