GAC Unveiled The New GS4 In Nigeria In a Grand Style

New entrants into the Nigerian Automobile market, China’s GAC Motors franchisee in Nigeria, CIG Motors, just unveiled its premiere GS4 brand on Monday at the Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island Lagos, and they did it in grand style.

A powerful delegation from China led by the General Manager of GAC Motors made there first visit to Nigeria for this high profile event which had the award winning musician Dare Art Alade as the host.

Speaking about the brands, Diana Chen, Chairman of CIG Motors and chief host of the event said “Applying sustainable and eco-friendly technologies in vehicle production and automotive decoration is one of our primary goals.” Chen, the first Chinese woman to receive a Chieftancy title in Nigeria, said that all cars manufactured by GAC Motor follow the highest standards and use only the best quality and environmental friendly materials.

The Unveiling as expected was an event of pomp and pageantry as select stakeholders of Nigeria’s auto industry, captains of industry, celebrities, political leaders and heads of corporate organisations were in attendance. Some of the celebrities who graced the occasion are Stephanie Linus, winner ‘Best-Overall-Movie-In-Africa’ Award at the AMVCA Awards 2016 and the award winning Movie Director, Kunle Afolayan.

The GS4 is powered by a 1.3 litre Trumpchi 200T turbocharged L4 DOHC engine mated to a 7-speed G-DCT transmission with a front wheel drive. This gives it an optimal fuel efficiency of 6.3-liter/100 km (37.3mpg). This may well be the smallest engine size SUV on the roads of Nigeria.

China I hail una!!
