Someone Tried To Sneak In A LaFerrari Into South Africa

I don't how someone could think he could smuggle a rare super car in a country without getting caught. The South African Revenue Service (SARS) has announced last week Wednesday that it seized a Ferrari 'La Ferrari' that was being smuggled into the country.
According to Fin24, SARS said the luxury vehicle worth an estimated R13.8m (₦313.6m) was stored at a bonded warehouse in South Africa since 2014 when the owner first brought into the country but failed to follow correct import procedures including paying the necessary customs duties and VAT.
Then in February, the vehicle owner submitted an export declaration to take the car to the Democratic Republic of Congo through Beitbridge border post. Only a day later, there was an attempt to have the vehicle return to South Africa through the same border post which obviously failed.
Now the 950 horsepower supercar has been detained and could be destroyed, yes, DESTROYED, if the owner fails to clear the issues.
