FIAT Revs Back Into Nigeria With Its Sedan, Tipo


On Thursday 25th May, Italian automakers FIAT, unveiled their latest sedan Tipo, to the Nigerian auto market at a prestigious launching ceremony held in Lagos, in an attempt to create its stand in the continuously expanding auto market.

The Tipo sedan made its first globally at the 2015 Istanbul Motor Show and it is a compact 4-door family sedan designed in Italy and developed in Turkey to offer the middle class customers around the world, especially in Europe, Middle East and Africa more value for money. The 2016 Best Buy Car of Europe comes with a range of engine options, from its 1.4L Fire to 1.6L E.torQ I4 engines, which are mated to either a 5-speed manual, 6-speed automatic or 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmissions, all on a front-wheel drive system.

The Tipo which is being marketed in more than 40 countries worldwide, will officially be sold and distributed by Weststar Associates Limited who are the authorized general distributors of FIAT in Nigeria.
