Lambo Sets A Record For The World's Fastest Half-Mile Run

A Lamborghini Huracan at the WannaGOFAST event in North Carolina, attained a speed of 402.3 km/h (250 mph) to set a new record for the 'world's fastest half-mile run' last weekend and get this, it is a street- legal lambo.
Gidi Chamdi, the driver with the balls of steel, shattered the previous record of 399.11 km/h (248 mph) on a half-mile strip of tarmac which is about 804.672 meters, at the Stanly County airport in North Carolina in what was said to be perfect conditioned day to race.

The naturally aspirated 5.2 litre V10 engine of the Lamborghini Huracan gives it around 602 horsepower on tap but this one tuned by Underground Racing makes around 2,500 - 3000 horsepower with help of two turbochargers that is channeled through an all-wheel drive system.
