Sir Rodger Moore Has Passed On

Legendary actor, Sir Roger Moore who once played the Iconic British secret agent, James Bond has died, his family has announced.

In a statement posted on the British actor's official social media accounts, it was revealed that Moore passed away today in Switzerland after a "short but brave battle with cancer". He was 89 years old at time of his death.

He will forever be remembered for playing James Bond from 1973 to 1985, which he took over from Sean Connery. The James Bond's films includes 'Live and Let Die, The Man with the Golden Gun, The Spy who love Me, Octopussy, Moonraker, A View to Kill and For Your Eyes Only'.

According to the statement made by the family, there will be a private funeral held for him in Monaco.
