Believe It Or Not, Toyota Is Still The Most Valuable Car Brand

Once again, Toyota has defended its title as the most valuable car brand in the world, beating Mercedes and BMW alike. That's according to research conducted by market researcher Kantar Millward Brown for BrandZ Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brands.

Even though Toyota’s brand value decreased by three percent to $28.7 billion compared to last year due to difficult currency fluctuations as well as increased investments and higher labor costs, they were still able to retain the top spot. Another interesting finding in the study is Tesla, who rose two spots in the ranking to the number eight position thanks to a 32 percent increase in its brand value.
